Operation 2012: Saving the World From the Humans

Behold, the time has come, again, to let my light shine. I must save the world from the humans.
The humans iz a mad-crazy species. They allow fearful and anxious thoughts to consume their minds. Then they act upon those fearful and anxious thoughts, thereby creating realities that reproduce the fear and anxiety.
With 2012 just three days away, chatter about the "end of the world" is going to escalate. Know-it-alls from every walk-of-life are going to begin telling others their version of the pending doomsday. They will pass their mental-poison into the minds of willing recipients, who will then pass the poison along to their own peers.
The mind-virus will spread from subject to subject, growing in collective strength with every new mind-infection. Before you know it, thoughts will become reality, and the humans will have created a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Chaos will ensue on planet Earth.
This is where I step in. You see, I'm the center of the Universe.
I pretty much run this bitch.
Back in the year 2000, I started reading a lot of books. Reading became the love-of-my-life. I was able to absorb the wisdom of great men and women who had already spent several decades on planet Earth. I essentially downloaded that wisdom into my beautiful mind. Combine that with my early-elementary government status of "gifted and talented" child, and you'll begin to understand how I was destined for this mission (of saving the world).
After I left the radio industry (where I perfected my public speaking skills over the course of a decade), I began writing a daily inspirational blog. From 2007 to 2009, I composed an inspirational blog nearly every weekday. Sometimes I'd even write on the weekends. This, however, was just a "training-period," preparing me for my glorious mission in 2012.
Back in the 2007 - 2009 era, I'd spend each morning thumbing through my "Book of Positive Quotations," find a quotation I liked, and expand upon the quotation in my blog — making it something, from which, the reader could benefit.
And then I got sucked into the world of Facebook.
I used to wake up, fix my coffee, and begin writing that day's blog. I felt great because I had composed something that would affect the lives of my readers in positive ways.
Nowadays, I wake up, fire up the computer, and start checking out Facebook. And then Twitter. And before you know it, I've wasted an hour.
Now that 2012 is approaching (and I'm responsible for saving the world), I realize I need to re-prioritize my life. The first thing I need to do each morning is download (and project via my blog entry) the telepathic communication from my Alien Overlords, thereby, reprogramming the minds of the Earth-humans in a more positive light.
I'll continue to use Facebook and Twitter to promote that day's blog, and use Twitter #hashtags to generate new visitors to the site. These two social media outlets, however, will no longer be the first thing I do each morning.
Instead, the main focus of each morning will be the composition of that day's inspirational blog.
As I start each day with this positive momentum, all my other personal goals will benefit from that momentum, and easily fall into place.
As I light my own candle (by expressing my thoughts in the daily blog), other candles will be lit. Those candles will light more candles throughout their respective days. And before you know it, the entire planet will be illuminated.
As I elevate the mental-programs of the humans, they will produce a more harmonious collective experience. Their thoughts of fear, anxiety, and a pending doomsday will be replaced with thoughts of love, compassion, and hope.
This is my mission. This is my purpose.

Just my thought, but if you're going to save the world should you really take the weekends off? I mean, when I have a big deadline coming up (I'm a developer) I sometimes have to work Saturday and Sunday to make that deadline. If you're our savior from impending doom, your big moment is now... just saying.
