If You Can Read This, You're Already Rich
I wept because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet. ~ Persian Proverb
This idea was covered in my book Follow The White Rabbit, in Chapter 24. It essentially highlights the following truth: If you have the ability to see, you're already rich.
Think about it: If you had the choice to have a million dollars or your eyesight, which one would you choose?

The next guy can choose to be a blind millionaire (and many millionaire's are spiritually-blind), but I'd rather be a broke guy with 20/20 vision. In fact, that's what I'm calling my 2020 Presidential campaign:
VOTE MERHOUT. 2020: THE PERFECT VISION. ;]
In Chapter 20 of my book FTWR, I write about creating your Book of Positive Aspects. Every day, you list about 33 things you have to be grateful for on that particular day. Having the ability to see should definitely be one of them.
In addition, having the ability to read is another valuable tool. Reading is power (as covered in Chapter 7); it unlocks the doors of impossibility. When you have the ability to read — aka download new information into your brain — you can learn any new skill, thereby, opening up endless new opportunities.
If endless opportunities are available to you right now, there's no excuse to not take advantage of them, now is it? I mean, we've already established the following:
A.) You can see.
B.) You can read.
C.) Reading opens up endless opportunities.
A + B + C = No excuses are acceptable for not fulfilling your dreams.
You may not have any shoes, but there are people out there who don't have any feet. Think about how defeated they must feel.
Pun intended.
On this day, excuses have been eradicated from your life-experience. They no longer make sense.
It's as easy as A + B + C.
You once were blind, but now you see.
Rhyme intended. =)
